About

Problem solver.  Logical.  Wicked awesome sense of humor.

I have had a long career in the technology industry.  I was a self-taught engineer for many years, working mostly on software developer tools (source control, debuggers, performance tools) both for enterprise customers and High Performance Computing customers.

I eventually became a manager and led both development groups and engineering sustaining groups.  I have lots of experience in dealing with very. cranky. customers.

After forming a educational software venture with a biology professor, I realized I did not have the web development skills to take that project to completion.  That led me to a stint at General Assembly in their full-stack Web Development Immersive course.

I have rediscovered my love of programming and want to find a great opportunity to use my new skills and dig in.
